Bali

Bali is so picturesque and immaculate it could almost be a painted backdrop. With strokes that reach from Tanah Lot, beautifully located in the ocean, to the crashing surf on white sandy beaches of Jimbaran beach. It has rice paddies showcasing the World Heritage Subak system, tripping water down hillsides like giant steps. Volcanoes Agung and Batur soar up through the clouds making a sunrise hike almost too hard to resist. And the dense tropical jungle of Munduk shows you clove trees and vanilla plants. But most of all it has people who do not just have a culture but actually live it. In Bali spirits come out to play in the moonlight, every night is a festival and even a funeral is an opportunity to have a good time. Unique Experiences

We’ve created some unique experience for your travelers. These are excursions that will give a traveler that special moment in their holiday. Think off: a perfect white beach all to yourself, a special evening with locals or a walk in just that undiscovered area of a major city.

Bali’s  beaches are known in Kuta, Sanur and Nusa Dua. But there are some hidden beaches under cliffs, beyond the main land and away from the beaten path. With this tour we help you to discover some of the island’s coastal gems that will have you come back for more.

Some of these beaches deserve to be in the hidden category due to its access, a descent of hundreds of steps down the cliff face. At extreme high tide the beach disappear.  The cliffs by itself are already a special sighting.  We will combine 2 hidden beaches and surprise you with a nice setting for (pick nick) lunch.

Morning Sanur cycling tour/ start tme 6.50 AM

Sanur is not just one of the most comfortable beach tows in Bali it is also a comfortable town to have a cycling tour. Due to the flat terrain combined with the friendly typical Balinese suburbs the cycling excursion is a nice activity for guests staying in Sanur.

Guests cycle from their hotel (pick up is at 6.50 AM) to the morning market ‘Pasar Intaran’. Tourists have not yet found the indigenous beauty of this Pasar making it true ‘shopping with locals’. Our local guide leads the visitors over the market to get an idea of the most delicious local delicacies. A typical Balinese breakfast snack can be bought to make the experience complete.

We leave the pasar behind us and start cycling to the Sanur beach side. We follow the paved beach boulevard that stretches a long Sanur beach for approx. 5km. For most another new experience. Due to the early hour it will not yet be crowded with sun lovers. Balinese setting up the day stall or locals who are having their morning beach ceremony will claim the beach at this hour. The tour continues and the beach is left behind us. We continue through small alleys, pass local houses and kids going to school to the Bypass Ngurah Ray. A busy point in the tour! We, however, just cross it at the traffic light and can afterwards enjoy cycling through village alleys and a bit of agriculture landscapes of West-Sanur. A light breakfast is brought along the excursions and can be enjoyed at a restaurant, run by the villagers.

A unique excursion for all who love some relaxed cycling along the beach but are also interested to see the parts of Sanur that still offer one of best experiences in authentic Balinese life. The guide will also include some fun surprise visits, e.g. to the Beatles Museum, or an old timer café passed en-route.

The whole tour will take approximately 3 hours and covers around 15 km. A local guide, bicycle helmet, a bottle of water, light breakfast and a cool towel are included in this excursion.

Notes:

  • Suitable for children riding their own bike with minimum age of 10 years old.
  • For infant 1-3 years old can join riding in a bike seat with parents.

Menjangan island is a place where you cannot miss on must visit places in Bali because this one of the world’s best snorkeling spots awaits you. Experience the abundance of sea life with colorful tropical coral garden and fishes in a warm water temperature. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot larger species like dolphins, whale sharks, mantas, and turtles. Menjangan Island’s charm is not only in its underwater paradise, but also the island itself. On the island, you will most likely to see the resident Menjangan or Javan rusa for which the island is named. As with many places in Bali, Menjangan Island is also a home to four temples in which one of them is believed to be the oldest temple in Bali.

A real off the road experience in the lovely mountain scenery around Munduk. The traditionally hidden hinterlands now become accessible, ready to be explored by the unique two-seater vehicle. This small car can zoom over the most difficult terrain with remarkable agility. You have the choice to drive the car by yourself. This is continued with 120 stairs to a Buddhism and Hinduism temple. A 30 minutes paddle in Tamblingan lake and challenging Munduk forest trek will follow afterwards.
