Day 01 : Arrive Tambolaka – South West Sumba

Upon arrival at Tambolaka Airport, our driver will greet you and take you to Rumah Budaya Sumba, a cultural house where you can explore traditional Sumbanese artifacts, including Marapu stone carvings, ikat textiles, and wood carvings. Afterward, visit the Talasi Estate Factory to witness local production of Sumbanese cashews and coffee. You’ll have the opportunity to tour the farm, connect with the Talasi community, and sample cashew milk or weejewa coffee. Check into your hotel and relax before heading to Lendongara Hill to enjoy a stunning sunset with views of the ocean and surrounding villages. Return to your hotel after the sunset.

Day 02 : South West Sumba: Weekuri Lake, Mandorak Beach – Ratenggaro Village – Pero Beach

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore the South-Western part of Sumba Island. Your first stop is Weekuri Lake, a pristine, crystal-clear lake perfect for a refreshing swim and relaxation. Take time to explore the surrounding rocks and reefs, where you can also view the ocean. Next, visit Mandorak Beach, flanked by two towering rock ridges and featuring sparkling clear waters. Lunch boxes will be provided as there are no restaurants in the area.

Afterward, head to Ratenggaro Village, known for its traditional high-roofed houses, which are the tallest on Sumba and built entirely by hand. This village is one of the few traditional ones remaining and each house can accommodate up to 50 family members. During harvest season, most villagers work in the fields, leaving only elders and children in the village. Enjoy the village’s picturesque setting right by the beach. Conclude your day at Pero Beach to watch the sunset before returning to your hotel.

Day 03 : South West Sumba – West Sumba

After breakfast and checking out, you'll visit a local market where you can interact with the locals and explore their direct-to-consumer products. With the help of our guide, you'll have the chance to connect with the vendors. Following your market visit, you'll head to the airport for your flight home or onward journey.
