Responsible tourism is at the heart of our operation. With third-party certifications, an extensive CSR program and a sustainable supply chain, we believe we lead by example towards more sustainable travel.

RESPONSIBLE TOURISM

Our Indonesia offices were the first Indonesian DMC to be certified by Travelife at the highest “certified level”. Travelife is an international certification scheme which has been developed by the travel industry, for the travel industry as well as Accredited by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the highest global body for sustainability in tourism by United Nations.

Although our aim is to reduce emissions as much as possible, for the unavoidable emissions we proudly operate a carbon off-set scheme in the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo (Kalimantan). In this, we are a carbon-neutral and climate-neutral company, such as we have replanted more than 85.000 trees and still continued.

Happy Trails! Asia is a signatory of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action Tourism. By joining the Glasgow Declaration, Happy Trails! Asia is stepping forward as a global leader working to accelerate climate action in tourism and supporting the global commitment to cut emissions in half by 2030 and reach Net Zero as soon as possible before 2050.

Unique Experiences

Our expert team happily tailors these experiences to your needs to ensure the traveler has an amazing and unique experience.

For example, experience one of Bali’s traditional villages with our team member Bara, to see how life is like on the island. Or, hop over to Lombok and visit Bonjeruk village, to cycle through the rice fields and cook with the local women of the community. Alternatively, how about a Jeep excursion through the backlands of Bali, with a private lunch overseeing the majestic Agung volcano!
